Hungarian Keyboard LayoutFollow this procedure: 1. Click "Start", then "Control Panel"
2. If "Control Panel" comes up in "Category View":
3. Double click on "Regional and Language Options"
4. In the dialogue box switch to the "Languages" tab page
5. Here, click the "Details..." button to get to the "Text services and input languages" dialogue box
6. If "Hungarian" doesn't appear in the list of Installed services, click "Add..."
7. In the "Add Input language" dialogue box
8. The new language and keyboard layout should appear in the list of installed services now
9. Select "Switch between input languages" from the “Action” list then click “Change Key Sequence”
10. Change to preferred key combinations
11. Close the Control Panel” window. Now start any word processor or text editor program, and notice the abbreviation "EN" on right side of the task bar.
To remember where the Hungarian characters are put stickers on your English keyboard. Alternatively, you can get a Hungarian keyboard with a USB connection and have both English and Hungarian keyboards plugged in at the same time. |
